About Me

Gina is a founder, change maker and advisor who is dedicated to building a better construction industry and creating highly skilled professionals within it. This passion extends to investing in innovation and technology to raise the level of professionalism, standards and the quality of workmanship in the industry providing significantly better outcomes for clients and the community.

Gina was co-founder and then Managing Director of Plus Systems for over 6 years, whilst the company won accolades such as one of Australia’s AFR Fast 100 growth companies after significant growth of revenue in the first 2 years, FPAA fire protection company of the year in 2017, finalist in Qld Regional Training Awards twice, and UDIA Excellence Finalist in 2020.   In the same time the company moved from installation and sub-contractor to solely specialist consultants in the passive fire industry, and then to developing and providing a number of alternate education and support services developed during the pandemic when work levels and type changed significantly.

Since early 2022 Gina is sole Director of Plus Technologies developing the ‘Certifired’ app for the full documentation of passive fire and inspections on sites.

Having enjoyed a broad & successful career in various industries including manufacturing and financial services, Gina brings a varied wealth of knowledge around the business performance, systems, legislation, HR and financial performance.

In addition to being a representative to multiple industry bodies, Gina was elected to the Board of Directors of the Fire Protection Association of Australia in 2017 and in 2021 became a member of the Queensland Building and Construction Commission  Developer Review panel.
